The Adult Hub Erotic Art Exhibit

Sorry  haven’t neglected my blog,  I did not loose interest, but I have a new Desktop  and my graphics is not that good as before,  so I was handicapted for a while so stopped making pictures. Lost some courrage also with my Windows 8 (I wanna be, everything at once… said the commercial song from Microsoft, but You know and I know they are lying :-) .
Still tried to do my best for the Adult Hub Erotic Art Exhibit at Inworldz.

Poster Erotic Art show 800Adult Hub 1st Annual Erotic Art Show  August 2-30, 2013
Organised by Nickola Martynov & quadrapop Tree in association with Dreamz&Visionz Art Festival
In the guidelines the organizers included some quotes :

“Erotica uses a feather. Porn uses the whole damn chicken.” -Anonymous
“The difference between erotica and porn is lighting” – Gloria Leonard

The word ‘lighting’ felt , for taking pictures that’s for sure, ‘painting with light’ as we all have read somewhere, but not so sure if that covers porn… but ok its all in the picture :-)

What is this exhibition about ? (notecard description)
My concept is theater, cabaret, red room, velvet, play and teasing, retro…

It is all about Erotica the beauty of the human body and not so much about sex ! These virtual pictures are made  with my avatar/alt in some erotic poses and believe me this was not an easy task and a great experience to make as well, but had great fun !

How to achieve a realistic look in the pictures without having the feeling ‘its only an avatar/puppet’ ? How do you create a good image, atmosfeer, pose, angle, lighting color and artistic feeling in the picture ?
I can rely a little on my RL experience as a non profesional photographer (not in the erotic branche, to be clear).
Some of the images were edited in Photoshop with special effects.
But said again, making these pictures and the poses was a big challenge !

Shibaru or Shibari some call it also Kinbaku wich means to bind; to tie; to fasten, is an artform on the human body, a Japanse style of bondage related to BDSM, almost like Macramé, (knotting with cords),  was a very good medium/theme for some pictures ! Not in the real sense but used as decor.

Why is this exhibit called ‘The Intimate Theater’ ?
Well we do have an expression in my language, ‘the blood crawls where it can’t walk (something like that),
translated means : hidden wishes and desires come sooner or later, consciously or unconsciously to the surface, you can not suppress !
Erotica can be a play as well, like cabaret, BDSM, domination etc…all is REAL but in a theatrical way !

If you teleport upstairs you can use the Photo-booths set up with poseballs (they are not perfect as I’m not a pose maker) but they are the same used in the pictures, maybe you can feel sexy/erotic by posing and taking pictures in your favorite sky and environment advanced editor ! For some pictures I used incongruent Truths   (available depending the viewer), ignore the name it works great :-).
Make pictures as you like, dressed, undressed , alone or with your partner or a friend. Just have fun !

I have set up a box for the mask and the outfit at the door to pick up, you can wear them for your Photo Shoots.
At the stalls below you can find some freebies, among them the poseballs to try at home if you didn’t feel comfortable at the studio.

I do love very much this Video clip about L’Opera de Mozart (a French musical).
If you like theater please take a look and listen to the lyrics of this marvelous song.
It is in French but if you want the translation go to : http://lyricstranslate.com/en/le-bien-qui-fait-mal-painful-good.html-0#songtranslation
