Single Frame Stories ‘Wall’

I could write a 100 word story about this image but I’m not good at it. This picture is how a wall can be, it doesn’t have to be a real one ! It can be a psychological one, or how you can be blocked in your own mind,  or dreaming about things wich are not attainable or a dilemma in a relationship and so on… I didn’t think of this when working on the picture, it  just came to this result and I’m trying to analyze it afterwoods, must be  my unconcious mind :-)

The Exhibit SFS at Wonderous

Single frame stories exhibit

Today I went over to Big Brother to take a peek at the Exhibit of the Single Frame Stories. It is nicely done, all the contributions are well placed, but the labyrinth is tricky… bumpt my head serveral times , but hm… never clever with navigating my avatar :-) Indeed as said somewhere,  the exhibit is well placed and has some space around it, not all placements can say the same… mostly all is cramped together, but that’s for a later post. When I was there I could see a lot of visitors watching the frames. Next time I go back to shoot again some more pictures of interesting builds, for some reason they did not load into my PC, all is new, a SLviewer, a new Desktop and some files have moved… sigh…we adapt to new handling… slowly.. but I hope not to late :-)

Single Frame Stories Creativity

Single Frame Stories SL10B Creativity

How to be creative

Limit your tools to only the most vital
Don’t listen to feedback
Having a routine
Let go of perfectionism
Ignore trends
Ignore the past

If you have problems being creative, look inside yourself. Everyone is creative, but if you don’t think you’re ‘good’ enough to be creative, then chances are you won’t be able to be as creative. Raise your self esteem and you’ll find that it’s a lot easier to be yourself.
Whenever you’re challenged to create something, ask yourself: What’s the most outrageous, preposterous, and nonsensical thing I can come up with?
Spend time around creative people. The most reliably creative people are children. Their imaginations aren’t boxed in, and “mind merging” with them can remind you of what it’s like to think outside the box.
Change the ways you do things, take another road to town, watch tv with one eye or read while you are in the toilet.
Don’t care about what other people think of your work or talent. You know more about yourself than they do.

Single Frame Stories ‘Community’

All by accident I  came to this contribution for the prompt ‘community’. When I went to SL to receive the free Bear given for  the occasion of the 10th Birthday and putting it on, I could have had big fun but helas after setting the windlight and 1 photo I was  darn ejected  ! It will be the first time I make a contribution that simple with 1 shot and 1 window take ! Mix&Matched it in Photoshop and put some words on top… no more no less.  It doesn’t have to be  complicated every time to make a Single Frame Story :-) (end of this one)

Single Frame Stories ‘Identity’

The next 3 weeks Single Frame Stories will work towards the 10th Birthday of Second Life. They will exhibit inworld with the prompts the coming weeks.

It is Whiskey Monday who will build this exhibit for us as she co-leads the Single Frame Stories,  for more info please read the blog .

I’m not that much in SL but I couldn’t resist the challenge… Maybe it is a good opportunity to give more importance to my avie Pixi Late in SL… for she is stalled there with no Identity  …

I need to fix that…but as I said before I’m sort of consistant and don’t want to change like a rooster on a church tower.

A side reflection , I admire people who can manage many avatars… remembering what they did and said…  for me,   ‘I would fall through the basket’ as we have an expression in my language, meaning (if trusting Google Translation) : own up , when I did a blunder, I’m a bad liar :-) I prefer to stay myself, many roles would only give me a DID making a lot of confusion in my head with mixing my Identity ! And like Whiskey named her contribution ‘I Am Who I Am’ …idem dito !

Single Frame Stories ‘Invisible’

Single Frame Stories almost invisible

To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour…

…Every Tear from Every Eye
Becomes a Babe in Eternity;
This is caught by Females bright
And return’d to its own delight.
